7. Imagine you could create the perfect winter wonderland for you. Write about what you would include and why?
As I step into my frozen wonderland a blast of an icy breeze hits my face instantly turning my cheeks red. The morning sun streams through the jagged icicles that hang from the trees painting a golden light onto the smooth snow covering everything in sight. Feathery snowflakes dance in the sky then drop softly to the ground like falling stars. Dark skeleton-like trees dusted with snow like icing sugar entwine with each other creating a perfect archway. When you come out on the other side a frozen pond is being used as an ice skating rink, the sound of children’s laughter and harp blades whizzing across the smooth ice cuts through the air. Majestic mountains stand proud in the distance with an opaque layer of cloud surrounding them. Striking white wolves gracefully roam around the rocky edges peering over at the land below. Gusts of winds blow the shimmering snow into swirling waves that dance gracefully through the air. Large snowy owls have built themselves cozy homes inside the wide tree trunks. They spread their long powerful wings and soar throat slate grey colored sky. As night begins to fall a dark velvety blanket is wrapped around the sky. A thin crescent moon and a sea of stars shine a pale light down to the ground. The entire land is lit up by magical fairy light that twinkles in the dark making it seem like you’re walking through a fairytale. Everything is calm and quiet. The only sound breaking the stillness is the crunch of snow beneath my feet and the cracks and pops of an open fire. The ambient glow from the flames warm the air and the sweet smell of hot chocolate is an irresistible temptation during the cold winter night.
